Dr. Sankar Srinivasan

Dr. Patel joined SCRI in 2024, as director of lymphoma research, and oversees SCRI’s comprehensive lymphoma clinical trial portfolio. Previously, he served as the Director of Hematologic Malignancies and Cell Therapy at the Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, Washington, where he led development of the program’s clinical standards for lymphoma care, assisted in the expansion of cell therapy services, and helped shape lymphoma research efforts. Dr. Patel was also a member of the Paul G. Allen Research Center at Seattle Cancer Institute, serving as a co-founding member of the Center for Immuno-oncology, where he collaborated on translational research related to immunotherapy in hematologic diseases.Dr. Patel has been published in various medical journals, including New England Journal of Medicine, Blood, and Journal of Clinical Oncology. He is also a member of the ASCO Cancer Communications Committee, the CIBMTR Lymphoma Working Committee, and the National Planning Committee for the Lymphoma Research Foundation Lymphoma Rounds.
