Overview
Dr. Cassandra Beienburg was first drawn to the field of obstetrics and gynecology because it allowed her to support women through some of their most transformative moments in life. She loves that her field allows her to form meaningful bonds with her patients, helping them grow their families or enter the next phase of life. She still gets a thrill out of getting to be a part of so many babies’ birthdays! She is interested in broad-spectrum obstetrics, lactation and breastfeeding, maternal mental health, contraception counseling, and adolescent health.
Dr. Beienburg was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado where she fostered a love for hiking and exploring the outdoors. She completed her undergraduate education at Colorado State University. She moved to the Midwest to complete her medical degree at Creighton University in Omaha, NE, where she graduated magna cum laude. She found herself drawn back to the Southwest where she completed her residency training at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix OB/GYN program at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix.
Dr. Beienburg is excited to embrace her life as a Phoenician and makes her home in Scottsdale where she lives with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and exploring the beautiful state of Arizona. She also enjoys reading, traveling, running, and salsa dancing with her husband.
She enjoys being a part of the Southwest Contemporary Women’s Care family and serving the women of the valley.
