He also served as the Academic Chief Resident during his final year of residency. Dr. Garbarino then received further training at the Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist Health Adult Reconstruction Fellowship program. He is an active candidate member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), serving as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty and as a member of the Fellows Orthopaedic Continued AAHKS Learning (FOCAL) committee.As a native of Long Island, Luke is excited to return home to help patients with their hip and knee needs. He practices individualized care with a focus on shared decision making with his patients. He enjoys spending time with his family, travel, watching sports, as well as cooking.
