Dr. Nnaemeka Anyadike
Overview
Dr. Nnaemeka Anyadike is the Director of Endoscopy for the Atlantic Digestive Health Institute in Morristown and is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Anyadike went on to pursue his fellowship in gastroenterology at Maimonides Medical Center. Prior to joining the Atlantic Digestive Health Institute, Dr. Anyadike served as faculty at Mount Sinai with a hospital appointment as an interventional gastroenterologist at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, NY. Dr. Anyadike believes in providing the highest quality care using state-of-the-art diagnostics to help patients live their best lives. His clinical interests are in diagnosis and management of biliary disease, pancreatic disease, and pre-cancerous and cancerous lesions in the gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, pancreas, bile ducts, and liver). Accordingly, Dr. Anyadike possesses expertise in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic ultrasound with fine needle aspiration, luminal stent placement, advanced polyp removal techniques, and small bowel endoscopy. The recipient of several honors and awards for professionalism and humanitarianism throughout his career, Dr. Anyadike maintains an appointment as an assistant professor with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He has written numerous research publications and served as a teacher for medical students, residents and fellows throughout his medical career. Dr. Anyadike maintains membership in the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is part of the Atlantic Medical Group and a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
