Overview
Originally from Massachusetts, I came to North Carolina in 2016 to train at Duke Health for my physician assistant studies. Having loved the area and people of the triangle, my wife and I decided to stay. Prior to joining Duke Urgent Care, I worked in primary care for six years and gained valuable experience treating both acute and chronic concerns. However, I have found that I truly enjoy the former. The ability to help people of all ages when they most need it, and in a setting they can feel comfortable in, drew me to urgent care medicine. It brings me back to the reason I became a physician assistant, to make people feel better. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife, trying new food, traveling, and trying to keep up with our son.
