Dr. Okobi has been a faculty pediatrician in the residency program at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children since 2014. She also served as medical director of the Teen Xpress program, overseeing a pediatric mobile unit that provides free medical care to adolescents in at-risk middle and high schools. Dr. Okobi served as outreach chair and faculty leader for Orlando Health's pediatric diversity council. She is co-chair of the Florida chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She has been the keynote speaker at several conferences and received the 2024 Women on the Move award from ONYX magazine.
