Addressing your worries, concerns, spiritual struggles and the challenges of living with a serious illness, whether they are the result of your underlying disease or related to your treatment. Filling out your advanced directives that document your preferences for care as your illness progresses. Initiating conversations about what’s happening with your disease and what comes next. Dr. Harding’s Training After graduating from the University of Florida in Gainesville with a bachelor’s degree in health science-rehabilitative services, Dr. Harding attended the University of Northumbria in New Castle, United Kingdom, before earning his medical degree at St. George’s University in Grenada. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) and a fellowship in palliative care and hospice medicine at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. About Dr. Harding During his internship at ORMC, Dr. Harding served as chief resident of the internal medicine program. He also is the co-author of The Textbook of Palliative Medicine and Supportive Care and volunteer faculty at the University of Central Florida, College of Medicine. In addition, as a teenager he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with Scouts BSA (formerly known as Boy Scouts of America).
