Philosophy of care | I believe in a wholesome approach to treating patients and will take the time to explain to you what is going on, what you can expect throughout your stay and to discuss your plan going forward. | Why I entered medicine | I entered emergency medicine because I enjoy the variety of patients and diagnoses. I pursued a fellowship in medical toxicology with a special interest in addiction medicine because it allows me to take the time with each patient to review medication interactions, overdoses and exposures. I help patients with substance use disorder by offering them medication-assisted treatment, which involves medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, and then link them to outpatient treatment. | Personal interests | I enjoy spending spare time with my family, traveling, reading and exercising.
Dr. Amaducci is board certified in American Board Of Emergency Medicine - Emergency Medicine and American Board Of Emergency Medicine - Medical Toxicology. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 33 peer reviewed articles.
