Dr. Avellino completed an emergency medicine residency at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami and a sports medicine fellowship at Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. About Dr. Avellino Dr. Avellino is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine with special qualification in sports medicine. Her professional memberships include the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, American Academy of Emergency Medicine, Florida American Academy of Emergency Medicine, American College of Emergency Physicians and Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association. She has presented her work at regional and national conferences. Outside of work, Dr. Avellino enjoys spending time with family, dancing, reading, pickleball, traveling and event planning.
