An advanced practice registered nurse and certified family nurse practitioner since 2023, Alexis McWhorter’s areas of interest include diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), hyperlipidemia and hepatitis C treatment. She also holds certifications in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support and hepatitis C treatment.
