Overview
Alicia is a Doctorate prepared Pediatric Nurse Practitioner whose passion is to care for children and support their family members. She worked many years at the Stanford Children’s Hospital (Lucile Packard) in the Bay Area. At Stanford she discovered she wanted to practice more preventative medicine versus reactive care. She obtained her Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Washington in March of 2018 and moved to Eastern Washington in June 2023. Although Dr. Alicia wasn’t able to have kids herself, she has dedicated her career to helping families raise healthy children from birth to 21 years old and is excited to hopefully have the opportunity to care for her patients’ kids one day. She has over 15 years of experience caring for children and strives to build long-lasting relationships as a member of your children’s healthcare team.
Her biggest goal is to support each family’s right to choose the best medical treatment options available for their children and she will help guide parents in doing so. She is a strong advocate for medical freedom and knows it is not her place to make judgments on parental choices unless there is a clear safety issue.
Dr. Alicia was born in New Mexico, spent some of her childhood there and some in Wisconsin. She met her husband, Josh, in college at the University of New Mexico where she obtained her Bachelors in Nursing Science.
In her free time, Dr. Alicia loves being outdoors, hiking, biking, camping, and skiing. She also enjoys time with family and friends, traveling and attending conferences to stay up to date on pediatric and healthcare best practices.
