I have always enjoyed working with children. As a pediatrician, I provide quality care to all children and promote healthy lifestyles from birth through adolescence. I like to be involved with my families and help them as their children grow. I enjoy discussing everything from ear infections to behavior concerns, to managing chronic illnesses. I am passionate about preventive medicine. As an osteopathic doctor – someone who promotes the body's innate ability to heal – I believe in looking at the whole child, not just a symptom. I like involving children and their families in healthy choices. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, either hiking with my dog or going on family bike rides. I like cooking and trying new foods. I also love to travel and have spent some summers teaching local birth attendants in a village in Ethiopia.
