"Philosophy of care | I want you to feel heard and understood. My time during an appointment is dedicated solely to you and what brings you in that day. I hope to provide all my patients with confidence in their care and to build a lasting relationship they're happy to return to without fear or judgment. | Why I entered medicine | I entered medicine officially at age 18 as a home health aide while working toward my nursing degree. I was informally immersed during my earlier teens with helping care for my grandfather. I have always cared deeply for others and been driven to help those in need. For me, working in medicine was never an ""if,"" but a ""when."" | Community involvement | The Poconos community is more than the place I’ve lived my whole life, but also the people that make it a home. For decades I have volunteered at soup kitchens, litter cleanup, helping charities and churches. Additionally, prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked for Nurse-Family Partnership, providing care and support for new mothers within our community. | Personal interests | My favorite time is with family. I have a loving husband, a beautiful daughter and an extended family I wouldn't be able to thrive without. I also have an immense love for animals. I often have a home full of animals, including our Siamese cats, Sasha and Suki. I enjoy bird-watching, gardening and various arts and crafts to keep myself busy.".
