Overview
I treat children and families who are experiencing difficulties related to mental health challenges. My goal is to help young children and their families get the best start to a healthy life in both their physical and mental health. Before becoming a doctor, I was a high school teacher. I was struck by the ways that challenges with mental and physical health became barriers for my students reaching their full potential. I was also inspired by the strength and resilience of my students. I felt that becoming a doctor would provide me with the best opportunity to help children and adults harness their strengths. I treat children and adults for conditions like anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and other mental health conditions. As a pediatrician, I also provide routine pediatric care, including well checks and sick visits. When there are concerns about physical and mental health, I believe there are always choices about what to do next. I work with individuals and families to understand the problem they are facing and help provide options so that they can make the best decision possible.
