I am Amber Walker, PMHNP-BC, a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 22 years of experience. As the founder of Clear Minds Psychiatry in Mesa, AZ, I provide both in-person and telehealth services, helping adults manage anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, eating disorders, insomnia, mood disorders, trauma, OCD, and personality disorders.
My approach is holistic, patient-centered, and evidence-based, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and culturally sensitive care. I believe in empowering clients to take an active role in their mental health by providing education, coping strategies, and personalized treatment plans that include therapy and medication management.
I earned my Master’s degree in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University with a 4.0 GPA and my Bachelor’s from Grand Canyon University as a top graduate. Before starting my own practice, I worked at Sycamore Integrated Health, where I gained extensive experience in therapy, medication management, and managed care.
At Clear Minds Psychiatry, I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. My goal is to help individuals build resilience, manage symptoms, and improve their overall well-being, so they can lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
