Philosophy of care | I deliver timely, coordinated, compassionate and evidence-based care to hospitalized children while recognizing the critical role of family, teamwork and holistic child wellness. | Why I entered medicine | I was always drawn to the idea of healing, physically and emotionally. Medicine offered the opportunity to combine science with service and critical thinking with compassion. I was inspired by the ability of physicians to bring clarity in moments of uncertainty and to offer care that impacts not just individuals, but entire families and communities. Pediatrics embodies all the reasons I entered medicine, but with an even deeper sense of purpose. Children are resilient, honest and incredibly vulnerable; being able to advocate for them, guide families through difficult moments and contribute to a child’s long-term well-being is a privilege and a responsibility. Pediatric medicine allows me to not only treat illness, but also to promote lifelong health starting from the very beginning. | Community involvement | As a pediatrician, I believe care doesn’t end at the hospital doors – it extends into the heart of the community. Whether volunteering at my daughter’s school or participating in local charity events, I find deep purpose in staying connected to the families I serve. These experiences enrich my understanding of my patients beyond the clinical setting and strengthen the trust essential to meaningful, long-term care. | Personal interests | I enjoy quality time with family and cooking.
