Overview
Andres Santayana, MD joined the full-time faculty of Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program in 2020. He practices the full scope of family medicine, but his particular interests are in outpatient medicine, wilderness and travel medicine, procedures and global health. Dr. Santayana earned a B.A. in biology at the University of Florida (Gainesville). He then returned to his hometown of Tampa to earn a master’s degree in biomedical sciences and complete his medical training at the University of South Florida. He performed his residency in family medicine at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, where he served as chief resident and completed areas of concentration in outpatient medicine and global health. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
