Overview
I am a general pediatrician who handles preventive care and treats acute illness in healthy children ranging from newborns to college students. I am also very comfortable with patients with complex medical conditions, particularly kids with genetic disorders. My special areas of interest include mental health (ADHD, anxiety and depression, headache and other common neurologic conditions, abdominal pain for children and adolescents, asthma care and post-hospitalization care. I was born and raised in the Twin Cities, with a brief stint in Wisconsin for college where I toyed with the idea of a career in classical music, later settling for medicine when a career in music proved too great a challenge.
