Overview
Andy L. Chang, MD, with Georgia Hand, Shoulder & Elbow, welcomes all patients at the Atlanta and Marietta offices seeking treatment for the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and shoulder. Dr. Chang is dedicated to helping patients return to their work, activities, and hobbies with nonsurgical and surgical methods. He has particular interest in treating trauma of the upper extremity, including bone, nerve, and tendon injuries, and performs arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgeries of the wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
Dr. Chang is an Atlanta native and received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech with highest honors and continued his medical education in Georgia, before moving to New York City to complete his medical training. He attended the Medical College of Georgia and is an AOA Medical Honors Society Inductee. He was a resident at Mount Sinai Hospital and St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospitals in New York City, where he was elected as administrative chief resident in his final year of training. His hand and upper extremity fellowship was at the New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center.
