Dr. Angela Diaz

I am passionate about medical education as well as helping students, residents, and faculty learn to care for themselves as healers. My interests include geriatrics, end of life care, mind body medicine, nutrition education, and behavioral medicine. I enjoy traveling, swimming, hiking, running, and practicing yoga. Her top areas of expertise are Maturity Onset Diabetes of the Young, Type 2 Diabetes (T2D), Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis, and Pulmonary Aspergilloma.

I am interested in Integrative Medicine and Functional Medicine. His top areas of expertise are Musculocontractural Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (mcEDS), Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Maturity Onset Diabetes of the Young, and Type 2 Diabetes (T2D).

I enjoy great food and great company in my free time – mostly with my family! I like to explore the healing properties of medicinal plants, practice yoga and Capoeira, and hike in Arizona's stunning natural landscapes. These activities bring me joy and remind me of our world's interconnectedness and the power of nature to inspire and heal us. When I'm not at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, you might find me leading a community garden initiative or simply spending time with loved ones, recognizing that healing is often found in the simple things. His top areas of expertise are Heavy Metal Poisoning and Chronic Pain.
