Angelo Mannino, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery, he has clinical expertise treating patients with a wide variety of knee and hip disorders. He followed that with fellowship training in joint preservation and adult reconstruction surgery in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York City. He also holds a master’s degree in health science with a specialization in physiology and biophysics from Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY.The author of numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals regarding patient-specific factors and complications in both total hip arthroplasty and total knee arthroplasty, among other topics, Dr. Mannino has also presented on many of these topics at national conferences. He is a member of the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons Young Arthroplasty Group, American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
