Overview
I'm a pediatric cardiologist and joined Duke Health and Duke Children's Hospital in 2002. My practice, Duke Children's Cardiology of Creekstone, is part of the Duke Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center. My commitment is to provide superb care and a great experience for patients and families. I serve as the Vice-Chair of Practice and Clinical Affairs for the Department of Pediatrics and have oversight of Duke Children's clinical programs, both in the Research Triangle area and across the state of North Carolina. I am a co-host of the 'Pediatric Voices' podcast for Duke Health. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling and kayaking and attending college football games at my children's schools.

I specialize in diagnosing and treating heritable arrhythmia syndromes that affect children and young adults such as long QT syndrome, Brugada syndrome, catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia syndrome, and short QT syndrome. I am a physician-scientist and cross-trained in pediatric cardiology, electrophysiology, human genetics, and molecular physiology.
