Dr. Anjali Chandra is a primary care physician board eligible in internal medicine and pediatrics. She joined Inova in 2024 and has been practicing since 2017. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Chandra was a combined internal medicine and pediatrics resident at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami. Dr. Chandra’s clinical areas of interest include the management of wellness and chronic illnesses, and helping children as they grow and transition to adulthood. Known as “Dr. A”, Dr. Chandra became interested in internal medicine and pediatrics after working as a special education teach and seeing how health problems became obstacles to both her students and their parents. Her goal is to help all her patients manage their health conditions and navigate the healthcare system so that they are able to thrive in all of their goals. A native of Maryland and Kansas, Dr. Chandra currently resides in Northern Virginia with her rescue dog. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family.
She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 7 peer reviewed articles.
