I became interested in anesthesiology and acute care medicine during my work-study job in college. The operating room environment is where I thrive. I have been able to study and implement various teamwork and safety measures in this setting. My role in the operating room is to be a champion for patient safety. Additionally, it has always been a privilege to take care of my patients during a vulnerable time in their lives. I hope to calm each patient’s anxiety and gain his or her trust. When I’m not in the hospital or simulation lab, I enjoy live music, playing drums, and tinkering with new gadgets and gizmos.
