Dr. Ann Cameron-Barr

I'm a rheumatologist who cares for people living with autoimmune diseases, such as arthritis, gout, lupus, myositis, vasculitis, and other systemic inflammatory diseases. I enjoy partnering with my patients to help them navigate their illnesses and find a treatment plan that truly works for them, and I am thrilled when my patients tell me that they are back to doing the things that bring them joy. The long-term relationships I get to build with my patients in this field is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. My clinical and research interests include inflammatory arthritis, use of musculoskeletal ultrasound, and quality improvement, and I’m especially passionate about medical education. I'm certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound and use it regularly to better understand and manage musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and son, hiking and exploring our beautiful U.S. National Parks, reading, and traveling.
