Dr. Liu is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She attended medical school as well as completed her pediatric internship and residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She holds a Master of Public Health focusing on maternal and child health, which she earned from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Her undergraduate studies were at Bryn Children's Health Library in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Dr. Liu practiced as a general pediatrician for five years in Northern Virginia before relocating to Dallas. As of 2017, she was recognized as a Mom Approved Doctor by DFW Child Magazine. She is married to Dr. Christopher McGonnell and is a very proud parent of their children Paige and Liam.
