Dr. Anne Marie Gerstner is a specialty care physician board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She joined Inova in 2023 and has been practicing since 2018. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Gerstner worked as an OB/GYN physician at Prisma Health in Columbia, SC. Dr. Gerstner’s patient care philosophy is that physicians should also be teachers. She believes that if physicians take the extra time to communicate to patients, it gives patients a better understanding and ability to be in charge of their own health. She feels that this is particularly important during a time when answers may inaccurately be sought out on social media. Outside the office, Dr. Gerstner loves being outside and is excited to live in the DMV area which has many walking and running trails. She enjoys going on trips to see friends and family, traveling to new countries and experiencing new foods and customs.
