Overview
Patients come to see me for help coping with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessive thoughts, impulsivity and attention challenges, and autism. Some issues can completely resolve with the right treatment plan. Other challenges are likely to be long term, and my goal is to help the child and their family find the right therapeutic, environmental, and medication supports to maximize their quality of life. I also work in reproductive psychiatry which is the psychiatric care of people who are planning to conceive, are already pregnant, or have recently given birth. Reproductive psychiatry’s emphasis is on making decisions about psychiatric care that will be best for both the birthing parent and the baby. We want to help the parent-baby dyad thrive. I really take pleasure in meeting people and getting to know their unique stories.
