Dr. Ari Gladstein finished his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y., and his internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center-Einstein Campus. He completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and a second fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Gladstein specializes in pediatric orthopedics and orthopedic sports medicine. He has been in practice since 2016 and sees patients of all ages. His primary clinical interests are anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and repair, revision ACL surgery, growth plate sparing ACL surgery, extra articular augmentation, patellar instability, cartilage restoration, multiligament reconstruction, shoulder dislocation, throwing injuries and fracture care for children and adults. Dr. Gladstein takes time to listen to concerns and explain pathology, helping patients determine an optimal plan of care, either surgical or nonoperative. He makes patients and their families feel comfortable and confident that, above all, their needs and best interests guide his practice. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, Arthroscopy Association of North America and Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine. He received Baylor College of Medicine’s Early Career Award for Excellence in Patient Care. A resident of Meyerland, Dr. Gladstein is married and the father of three children. His favorite leisure activities are watching the Houston Rockets and playing guitar.

Dr. Eric Klineberg received his undergraduate degree from Rice University and then a master’s degree in zoology and neural networks at the University of Maryland, before earning his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Washington Medical System in Seattle then a combined neurosurgery and orthopedic surgical spine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Klineberg is board certified in orthopedic surgery. His primary clinical interests include spinal degeneration, deformity, tumor and fracture; adult and pediatric spinal deformity surgery; and cervical compression and deformity. Dr. Klineberg is committed to excellence in surgical care with an emphasis on communication, compassion and empathy. He strives to treat each patient as he would like himself or a family member to be treated. A professor and vice chair in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, Dr. Klineberg serves as Chief of Orthopedic Spine Surgery and holds the Milton “Chip” Routt Endowed Chair of Spinal Surgery. His research, teaching and clinical activity have earned Dr. Klineberg an international reputation in spinal deformity surgery. Author of over then 300 publications and book chapters, he also edited Adult Lumbar Scoliosis, A Clinical Guide to Diagnosis and Management and is a principal or co-principal investigator for more than a half-dozen clinical studies. His major research interests are enhancement of spinal fusion with stem cells and proteins and spinal deformity and outcomes. He serves on the board of directors of the Scoliosis Research Society and on the executive committee of the International Spine Study Group. He is also the North American Chair of AO Spine, a global academic community that promotes excellence in education, research, patient care and outcomes.
