Dr. Ashley Thomas

Ashley Thomas is a certified physician assistant at the Orlando Health Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Institute. She serves as a first assist in the operating room and manages care in inpatient and outpatient settings. Ashley worked as a physician assistant in plastic and reconstructive surgery for five years before joining the cancer team. Her expertise includes: Implant-based breast reconstruction Autologous breast reconstruction DIEP, PAP, LTP and GAP procedures Lymphovenous bypass Dermatologic malignancy treatment Head and neck cancer reconstructive surgery Limb salvage surgery Aesthetic surgery and rejuvenation Vascularized lymph node transfer Neurotoxin Dermal filler injections Ashley is passionate about supporting patients with their reconstruction journeys and helping them regain confidence. She believes in the benefits of facial cosmetics and has extensive training with neurotoxins and fillers. Ashley’s Training Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree in health sciences at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She received her Master of Medical Science (MMSc) in physician assistant studies with honors from Nova Southeastern University in Orlando. About Ashley Ashley is a Florida native from Clearwater. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and her professional memberships include the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, traveling, reading, exercising and good food.
