I grew up in DeWitt, IA. I attended St. Ambrose University for undergrad and received by RN, BSN. I then worked for 7 years in Cedar Rapids, IA in the ER at St. Luke's Hospital. I went to Walden University for graduate school and did clinics at Genesis Health Plex and Medical Associates where I did rotations in family practice, pediatrics, and OB/GYN.I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband, and our dog, Cookie.My goal every since I was a small girl was to become a NP. I love interacting with people and doing everything I can to better their health and wellness.
