Born in Vietnam, Dr. Nguyen moved to Denver, Colorado, where she was raised. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for her undergraduate studies. She earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Regis University in Denver and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. Dr. Nguyen completed an internal medicine residency, where she was named chief resident at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA.
