John Midturi completed his medical training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Fort Worth. He has conducted research in HIV, influenza, Clostridium difficile colitis, COVID-19, and antifungal agents. He is interested in preventative aspects of infectious disease and population health. He enjoys teaching, time with his family, and travel. He considers, Temple “home” at this point since he has been here since 1999 (except for time in Malawi) and is becoming a huge (TISD) Temple High Wildcat fan!
