I believe it is important for patients to understand their health conditions, why they are important to treat, and what our treatment plan is going forward. I approach medicine from a team-based perspective where my patients and I work together to reach their goals.|My clinical interests include pediatrics, diabetes, hypertension, orthopedic care and in-office skin and joint procedures.|Why I Love My Work|My favorite part about working in a primary care clinic is helping my patients take charge of their health. Working with people is what I enjoy most about my job. Every interaction in medicine is a lesson in empathy and having the opportunity to help my patients through difficult situations is an incredible experience.|What drew me to CentraCare is its strong commitment to the residents of Central Minnesota, its expanding services, and track-record for excellence.|Getting to Know Me|I grew up in the area and I am proud to call Central Minnesota my home. What excites me most about this community is the opportunity to live and practice medicine with the people I interact with every day.|Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, and friends. Going to “the lake,” hunting whitetails, woodworking and tennis are some things I enjoy.|I am also a complete fantasy nerd. So, naturally, reading and writing fantasy novels is one of my favorite hobbies. As is anything related to Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Game of Thrones and Magic the Gathering.
