Dr. Benjamin M. Brasseur

I strive to treat all patients with respect and dignity and work diligently to achieve the best possible outcomes for them. I want to help my patients understand their disease process and how to move forward to achieve the best results. I have a particular interest in colon and rectal surgery. I am passionate about treating patients with diseases of the colon and rectum using minimally invasive approaches such as laparoscopy, robotics and endoscopy. I am board certified in colorectal surgery and well versed in treatment of diseases of the colon and rectum including cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and diverticulitis. I also am focused on pelvic floor disorders such as prolapse and fecal incontinence. I have an interest in anorectal diseases including cancer, hemorrhoids, fissures, abscesses and fistulas. In addition, I enjoy all aspects of surgery and am happy to treat patients with other surgical disease.

His clinical expertise encompasses Anal Cancer, Rectal Prolapse, and Micropthalmia Associated with Colobomatous Cyst.

Dr. Brasseur is board certified in American Board Of Colon & Rectal Surgery and American Board Of Surgery. He is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 4 peer reviewed articles. Dr. Brasseur is currently accepting new patients.
