My philosophy of care centers on evidence-based medicine, patient comfort, and above all, safety. My goal is to provide patients with a comprehensive understanding of why specific anesthetic medications and techniques are utilized for their procedure. My clinical interests are anesthesia for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures, and performing perioperative transesophageal echocardiography.|Why I Love My Work|I enjoy the high-acuity nature and procedural aspects of anesthesiology in addition to the broad-spectrum of patients I care for. I also love contributing to the team-based approach of the operating room.|Getting to Know Me|Outside of work I enjoy playing and watching soccer, traveling, hiking, making/drinking espresso, and all things on the ocean including surfing and bodysurfing.|I am diligent and detail oriented. I will always strive to ensure patient comfort and safety through what can be a very stressful period.
