A bio-medical engineering graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, Dr. Brandy McKelvy earned her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Dr. McKelvey is an assistant professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the (UTHealth) Medical School, where she has served on the faculty since 2005. She was named 2012 Physician of the Year by Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center and has been recognized numerous times with the UTHealth Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence.
