Dr. Brenden Matus attended Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI, for his undergraduate studies. He earned a Master of Public Health and a Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University in California. Dr. Matus completed an internal medicine internship with Providence Portland Medical Center in Oregon and an occupational and environmental medicine residency with the University of Colorado. Board-certified in occupational medicine, Dr. Matus has spent his career working in Colorado. His clinical interests include injured worker care, injury prevention, and medical surveillance.“I believe strongly in the patient/doctor relationship and shared decision-making. Delivering the best care for the injured worker requires understanding the appropriate medical diagnosis and treatment and coordinating and communicating effectively between the injured worker, the employer, and the insurer.”Dr. Matus and his wife, a nurse, enjoy spending their time outdoors and exploring new places to eat and drink in Denver.
Dr. Matus is board certified in American Board Of Preventive Medicine. He is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 1 peer reviewed article. Dr. Matus is currently accepting new patients.
