Dr. Brian Johns is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. Dr. Johns performed a landmark study with researchers at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System, which was the first trial to add ketamine to existing outpatient regimens. The astounding results of this study set the benchmark for ketamine infusions nationwide. Dr. Johns subsequently developed the region’s first ketamine infusion clinic at North Memorial Health and directed the largest expansion of mental health services in the organization’s history. He also served as a consultant to Janssen Pharmaceuticals in the development of esketamine (Spravato), which was FDA-approved for treatment-resistant depression.
