"Brittney O'Hara, FNP-C, dedicated nine years of her nursing career to caring for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. During that time, she discovered the profound impact of comfort-focused care, which helped enhance her patient's quality of life. Brittney can trace her passion for medicine back to her childhood, when she experienced the medical field through her sister's medical needs. It didn't take long for Brittney to find her calling to help people as a nurse, and she credits her sister for teaching her the importance of listening to her patients. ""Each patient needs to be heard, and they usually tell you exactly what they need,"" Brittney says. ""I feel the most fulfilled when my patients feel heard and that their needs have been met."" When not treating patients, Brittney enjoys spending time with her family, fishing and generally being outdoors in the Appalachian Highlands.".
