I believe it is important to be your biggest advocate and to always treat you with dignity and respect. | Why I entered medicine | My passion for helping others began at a young age and I initially began a career as a music therapist. I eventually realized that I wanted to be more involved in patients’ medical care. As a physician assistant, I enjoy learning about new diagnostic and treatment options for patients. I find it meaningful to help people feel more comfortable during frightening medical experiences. My intent is to create a safe and calm environment so my patients can heal and have the highest quality of life possible. | Community involvement | I enjoy volunteering and currently participate in litter picking and hiking trail maintenance groups to keep the community where I live and work clean. | Personal interests | I enjoy hiking, kayaking, bicycling, and spending time with my family.
