Growing up I witnessed the dedication and compassion of my mother, a registered nurse, as she tirelessly cared for patients, igniting my desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. In high school I was involved in an Emerging Health Professionals program, providing me invaluable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the health care field. Also, a personal experience with a family member's illness highlighted the importance of accessible and compassionate care, instilling in me a strong desire to help others through the medical field. I am excited to make a difference in the lives of my patients. | Community involvement | I believe in giving back to my community. In addition to my clinical work, I participate in blood drives, volunteer at animal shelters and enjoy educating others about health and wellness.
