Previously, she earned a registered nursing degree from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing in Reading, PA. She is licensed by the state of New Jersey as an advanced practice nurse and certified in adult gerontology by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and NIH Stroke Scale certified. Carina is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the American Urological Association and the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates.Prior to earning her nurse practitioner degree, Carina served as a float pool RN specializing in urology and oncology among other conditions. She also served in critical care units, surgical and post-surgical units. While in graduate school, Carina was a graduate assistant at Villanova, she used her nursing skills and experience to tutor undergraduate students at the college of nursing. She performed rotations in cardiology, pain management, primary care, rehabilitation and long-term care. Before joining AMG, she served on a rapid response team at a large hospital managing all rapid responses and cardiac emergencies.
