I also find it important to be open-minded; it helps patients trust me, which helps me provide them better care. | Why I entered medicine | I knew I wanted a medical career, but was unsure whether to become a doctor or a physician assistant. After talking to professionals from both fields, I decided being a physician assistant would better suit my personality and allow me to spend more time with patients and their care. | Community involvement | I am a recent graduate, but someday will travel to an underdeveloped country and create a patient care plan. | Personal interests | I enjoy outdoor activities, such as running, soccer and hiking. I also like reading, knitting and time with my family.
