I am passionate about caring for patients with primary brain and spinal cord tumors. I value establishing relationships with patients and their families and making sure they are getting the same treatment, including symptom management, that I would want my family to receive. Open and honest communication with patients is important to me. I enjoy educating patients and advocating for them to ensure that their needs are met in a timely fashion. I am interested in long-term survivorship education of my patients and I also have a passion for teaching and mentoring future health care professionals. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, running, Duke basketball, and spending time with my family.
