Overview
Cassie Mouw, ARNP, specializes in sleep medicine at MercyOne Clive Sleep Center. She first became interested in medicine at a very young age when her late younger sister was born with numerous physical and developmental delays that required multiple specialties of care. Cassie has since forgotten the specific things that her sister’s care team said to her and her family over the years, but she will never forget the way they made her feel – something she extends in her own philosophy of care. With more than six years of experience as a nurse practitioner in sleep medicine, Cassie is excited to care for patients in the Clive and Ankeny areas.“My favorite part about being a nurse practitioner is having the opportunity to provide memorable care while building lasting relationships with you and your family,” says Cassie. “Making a difference in your life, in the lives of each and every patient that I am able to care for – it’s very rewarding.”Cassie grew up in a small town in northeast South Dakota. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from South Dakota State University before her nursing career eventually brought her to Iowa where she worked as a neurology nurse on the neurology floor at MercyOne. Cassie continued to work for MercyOne while obtaining her Master’s degree as a nurse practitioner through Purdue University Global. In her free time, Cassie enjoys biking, yoga, traveling and spending time with her fiancé and their dog, Stella – a Cavapoo.Cassie see patients in Clive, Ankeny and Newton.
