Dr. Catherine M. Hough

Dr. Catherine Hough-Telford is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of BayCare Medical Group in Valrico, Florida, where she sees patients from birth to age 18. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Hough-Telford completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) in Birmingham, Alabama, where she also served as chief resident. She had an additional two years of training as a pediatric infectious diseases fellow at the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Hough-Telford’s clinical interests include preventive medicine, pediatric injury prevention, atopic dermatitis and congenital infections. She provides general pediatric services, including well-child exams, immunizations, acute illness care and chronic disease management. Dr. Hough-Telford creates personalized treatment plans that address a wide range of pediatric health concerns, promoting healthy development. She loves pediatrics because she enjoys developing long-lasting relationships with patients and their families as the children grow. Dr. Hough-Telford is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Hillsborough County Pediatric Society.
