Cera Renninger, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in otolaryngology. She treats a variety of ear, nose and throat conditions, including ear infections, swimmer’s ear, perforated ear drums, hearing loss, tinnitus, nasal congestion, sinusitis, nasal polyps, hoarseness, dizziness/vertigo, tonsil stones, loss of smell, bloody noses and tonsillitis. She also performs specialized procedures, including nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, earwax removal, sinonasal debridement and chemical cautery for epistaxis (bloody noses).|“I love interacting with my patients and educating them on their current clinical conditions,” she says. “I especially like being able to perform procedures in the office as these sometimes provide immediate relief of patients’ symptoms.”|Ms. Renninger earned her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology and a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University.|Born in Hawaii to a military family, Ms. Renninger notes she moved around quite a bit before settling down in Schuylkill Haven to attend school.|She was inspired to become a physician assistant after the provider she saw as a child told her about the profession. “I did some research on it, applied to college and there was no looking back,” she says.|She and her husband live in Milton with their many pets.
