Overview
Growing up, Chester Ogborn, MD, was taught by his father to help others and be generous with his time. “When choosing a direction for my career I wanted to do something that had similar value.,” Dr. Ogborn says. Fascinated by the physiology of the lungs, Dr. Ogborn was drawn to pediatric pulmonology because it enabled him to develop long term relationships with young patients and their families. “Just because a child is young doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be treated with respect,” Dr. Ogborn says. “I would never want one of my young patients to feel like no one was listening to them.”.
