I was drawn to OB-GYN because of the obstetrics part of it; I was thrilled to deliver a baby and be involved in the miracle of new life. I still remember being in my first delivery and how very moving it was. I still love delivering babies. It's such an honor to be there with parents during that special moment. Through the years, I've come to enjoy the gynecology aspect, too – seeing women through all stages of reproductive health. I like working with women through pregnancies and beyond into the menopause stage. I also have an interest in high-risk obstetrics. I treat my patients as I would want to be treated. I don't ever want them to feel rushed, so I take all the time needed and involve them in all decision-making. I speak Ibo as well as English.
